Tenya Brooks

Teniya Brooks is a well-respected dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Toronto, originating from Scarborough.

Through her commitment to dance and vigorous training, Teniya proves time and time again that she is a force to be reckoned with and has been able to share her talents not only on stage, but commercially as well through Kotex Canada, Special K Canada, MMVAS, WEDay and Disney Zombies 2.

Branching out into teaching, Teniya now shares her knowledge of movement and her love of dance to various age groups competitively, recreationally as well as privately.

Aside from personal goals to continue working within the film and television industry, Teniya aims to build within the Black arts community a legacy that leaves behind a trail of future performers, teachers, and movers who have a solid foundation of the roots of dance styles and within themselves to share with the next generation and so on.
