NEW TO RTF? START HERE.

  • Run The Flex is Toronto’s premier Hip Hop & Street Dance Studio, committed to offering a safe space for individuals to grow, connect, and be inspired by the transformative power of dance. We are dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of Hip Hop and fostering a sense of belonging for all. There is no age limit to dance at RTF, however, the minimum for our drop-in classes and programs is 14. We offer separate children’s programs HERE.

  • We are located at 893 Yonge Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto, ON, just a short walk from both Rosedale Station and Yonge/Bloor Station.

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer parking, however, there are many affordable parking lots nearby. Item description

  • You can create an account and update your information on our website or in the RTF app. One account per student.

  • Welcome! Please arrive 5-10 mins prior to the class start time, check in at the front desk, and wear comfy clothes and sneakers. Heel caps are required for Heels classes (sold for $5 in-studio). Bring indoor shoes if it's rainy or snowy. We offer individual restrooms/change rooms and filtered water to stay hydrated!

  • You can find our class schedule on our website or RTF App.

  • We are predominantly Hip Hop and Street Dance focused, but also offer an array of styles including Afro Fusion, Dancehall, Heels and more. Please refer to our schedule.

  • Drop-in classes provide variety and flexibility - with different lessons and choreography each week. Our programs are progressive and great for those looking for more of a commitment. You’ll build on the lessons and choreography week-by-week. You can learn more about our programs HERE.

  • Nope! Our Level 1 - Beginner classes and programs are perfect for newcomers to dance! Not convinced? Learn more about our beginner class vibe HERE.

  • Class footage is uploaded HERE within roughly 24 hours from the end of class. Please note, only some classes are filmed, and being on camera is optional.

BOOKING POLICIES FOR DROP INS

  • Please cancel your class reservation in your account on the RTF app or website, at least 4 hours prior to the class's start time to avoid losing your credit. When you do so, your credit will be promptly refunded to your account.

    Please note: we reserve to cancel a class up to 2 hours prior to the class start time. Should we cancel, you will receive an e-mail notification, and your credit will be returned to your account for future use.

    If you find yourself in an emergency situation that prevents you from attending a class, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@runtheflex.com or call us at 416-960-1783.

    Note: the above applies to Drop In classes only. Programs are treated like a membership, there are no refund make up credits provided for missed classes.

  • Booking online via the Run The Flex App (App Store, Google Play) or website is recommended to ensure you secure your spot in a class or program, but walk-ins are welcome, provided there is space!

    Please note: you can reserve your spot up to 14 days in advance of a class. When you register for a program, you do not need to reserve your spot in each week’s individual sessions, our team will do this for you!

  • Please be punctual and arrive on time! Latecomers can join within 10 minutes of the class start time. If you decide not to attend a class you have registered for, please cancel your reservation at least 4 hours ahead of the class start time via your online account or the RTF app, to avoid losing a credit,

  • Adding your name to a waitlist means you'll be enrolled automatically up to 5 minutes before class starts if a spot becomes available. You can remove yourself anytime without a penalty. But, if you're added to the class and don't show up, you'll lose your credit.

  • We can extend any expired or expiring credit packages for $5 for every 2 weeks you would like to extend. Please e-mail hello@runtheflex.com to request an extension.

  • We do not offer refunds, however in some circumstances, we will add the value of your purchase to your account as a credit.

    Please note that we charge a $25 admin fee for any changes to program enrolment - ie. refunding to an account credit or switching to another program.

  • Yes! All students can purchase our intro offer: 3 classes for $48 ($16 per class), to feel out our studio, instructors, and community. One purchase per student. Credits can be shared with friends + fam! Offer expires one month from date of purchase.

  • Yes! We offer a discount for students and members of ACTRA, CADA, and EQUITY. Enjoy $20 drop-in classes and a 10% discount on our memberships and programs. To take advantage of this offer, email us at hello@runtheflex.com with your proof of ID or membership.

    Additionally, if you are affiliated with a dance training company or actively participating in street dance battles, you are also eligible for this discount. Please send a reference to hello@runtheflex.com to claim your discount.

  • Please pay in advance through our RTF app or website. We accept walk-ins pending available space in the class. Please note that we are a cashless facility.

  • Our memberships are as follows:

    - 4 Flex Membership (4 classes/month)
    - 8 Flex Membership (8 classes/month)
    - Bare Flex Unlimited Monthly Memberships (unlimited classes - multiple commitment options)

    These recurring memberships activate on the day of your first class, and auto-renew until canceled. They can be used towards all of our drop-in classes. Our Bare Flex memberships can also be used towards workshops. All memberships come with additional perks, explore them HERE!

  • All of our class credit packages are shareable. This includes: 1, 5, 10 and 15 class packs.

    • Intro Offer: 1 month expiry from date of purchase

    • 1 Class Drop-In: 1 month expiry from date of purchase

    • 5 Class Pack: 2 month expiry from date of purchase

    • 10 Class Pack: 6 month expiry from date of purchase

    • 15 Class Pack: 1 year expiry from date of purchase

  • Please e-mail hello@runtheflex.com to cancel your membership anytime in advance of your next billing date.

  • Memberships permit freezes up to 45 days in a 12-month period. Please e-mail hello@runtheflex.com to request a freeze.

  • All multi-credit packages can be shared with friends. Select "reserve for guest" when registering. Please note that guests will be prompted to sign our standard waiver upon check-in at the front desk.
