JP Manabat

JP Manabat is a professional dancer born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He first stumbled across the breaking culture at an early age of 14, and became so enthralled by the scene he started participating in underground dance battles. By the age of 16, he had earned himself the opportunity to represent Canada in Glasgow and won 1st place in the battle called, UDO Championship Toronto. His battle experiences have led him to become a b-boy choreographer for a crew named YYZ. Earning many first-place standings in competitions such as World Of Dance Toronto 2014 and STOMP Urban Dance Competition 2015, his love for dance continued to grow. JP was featured in DISNEY Zombies 2, DISNEY Sneakerella & Netflix The 13 Musical. He has carefully learned different dance styles from original sources including LiteFeet, House in New York City and Chicago Footwork under the pioneer named King Charles. JP hopes to share his passion for dance with anyone he crosses paths with.
