Meet the Directors, Aaron & Nicole
Black Ops is led by RTF Co-Founders, Aaron and Nicole — Toronto-based dance artists and choreographers dedicated to developing the next generation of high-level performers.
With extensive experience in training, competing, and performing, they bring a focused approach rooted in technique, musicality, and performance. Their mentorship emphasizes discipline, growth, and strong team culture.
Through Black Ops, Aaron and Nicole create an environment where committed dancers are challenged to train with purpose and perform at their highest level.

MEGA CREW + ELITE
Black Ops Competitive Crew is RTF’s first-ever competition team, featuring the Mega Crew (INT/ADV) and the Elite Crew (ADV).

TRAINING + PERFORMANCE
Black Ops Academy is a training and performance-focused program designed to elevate dancers through technique, choreography, and stage experience.
The Academy is divided into 4 levels: Beginner, Beg/Int, Intermediate, and Int/Adv, ensuring dancers train at the right pace and continue to grow each season.

Black Ops is a hip hop dance company by Run The Flex in Toronto. We offer two streams: Competitive Crew & Academy.

No. Dancers with no experience can audition for the Beginner Academy team. The Academy also has Beginner/Intermediate, Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced levels for continued growth.

Academy teams focus on performance training through concept videos and the annual RTF show. The Competitive Crew is for advanced dancers in competition-focused training.

Yes. Both Academy teams and the Competitive Crew perform in the annual RTF show, with additional opportunities depending on the team.
